Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! actor Saumya Tandon hospitalised; asserts fans, “recovering and will emerge fit soon”

Former Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! actor Saumya Tandon was hospitalised recently. She took to her Instagram and dropped a few pictures from her hospital bed. The first picture shows the IV drip on her hand while the other picture shows some medical equipment. There was another photo that showed Saumya enjoying a movie on her tablet. Though the reason behind her being hospitalised is not revealed, Saumya Tandon asserted to fans that she is on her way to recovery and will emerge fit soon.

Sharing the photos on her Instagram, Saumya wrote, “Pictures are not always pretty and life is not always all smiles. Recovering and will emerge fit soon. Thanks for your wishes in advance.” Fans quickly started pouring in love and wishing her a speedy recovery.

Saumya Tandon was last seen as Anita Bhabhi in hit sitcom Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai. She quit the show in 2020 for personal growth. Saumya told a portal, “Well, you can say that it’s an impractical decision to quit a stable job, that too, in an established show. But, I realised that being employed and earning a regular income was not exciting enough any more. Desire to grow as an artiste: I want to do projects where there is scope for growth as an artiste.”
